Sorpresivamente y a solo 4 dias del debut del equipo en el torneo Clausura 2007, la directiva decidió sacar a jorge Amado Nunes de la dirección técnica. La excusa: declaró mal contra los dirigentes por la pésima gira en U.S.A donde parece la "U" fue tratada como un equipo de barrio.

La salida de Nunes no es por sus declaraciones, sino por la falta de identidad crema dentro de la institucion.
Si los dirigentes demostraran ser fieles a sus ideales, eso lo transmiten a los jugadores, PERMANENTEMENTE y tienen que dejar el alma en la cancha.
Nunes solo no podía, y para justificar sucesivas criticas, es mejor asolapar la falta de identidad merengue callando al unico que daba cara de la extinta estirpe crema.
Haciendo una comparacion (toda comparacion es mala) pero miren los equipos de Basketball o de Football Americano, los equipos destacados mantienen a sus entrenadores a pesar de los resultados y hasta lograr el objetivo (en la mayoría de casos claro).
Mike Shannahan está en los Denver Broncos como 12 años, ganó los super bowl del 97 y 98, desde ahí nada más, pero sigue en su puesto porque el equipo tiene una identidad.
